Overview

Breach has consistently been one of the strongest initiators in the game when it comes to coordinated play -- he’s an example of what the devs were probably thinking of when they created this game. His entire kit is great at disrupting enemy angles and enabling your team to push forward without fear. He’s an agent that will greatly reward your ability to guess where enemies may be hiding.

Role: Initiator

Initiators can gain information on enemy position for your team and they can help flush enemies out of tight hiding spots.

On defense, their utility is used to gain information first and foremost, but they are also adept at supporting aggressive plays and retake scenarios.

On attack, their utility is used to clear tight angles and to make it harder for opponents to sit in expected defensive positions.

Tips and Tricks

  • Fault Line [E] is typically used to clear the first angle an enemy might hold. This can be combo-ed with any damaging utility like Tejo’s Salvos to try to kill the enemy as they can’t move, or it can be combined with a Raze or Jett quickly dashing towards them as they are dazed.

  • You can also combine Fault Line [E] with Flash Point [Q] or Aftershock [C] to quickly clear multiple angles to allow your team to scale up and take space before the enemy can react.

  • Aftershock [C] is great at clearing tight angles on offense or stopping the spike plant on defense. It’s typically too slow to combine with your own abilities, though.

  • Between Fault Line [E] and Rolling Thunder [X], you’ll be able to completely clear most sites.

  • Breach is going to be a good pick when you are good at communicating what you can do and how your team can play off of your utility.
