Gekko’s Abilities

Mosh Pit

EQUIP Mosh and FIRE to throw Mosh like a grenade ALT FIRE to throw underhand. Upon landing Mosh duplicates across a large area then after a short delay explodes.

Overview

Sick of being killed while planting the spike because no one else on your team is willing to do it? Well, why not just send a little minion in to do the dirty work for you? Gekko is an agent who is very good at recycling and using abilities more than once in a round thanks to her ability to pick up her minions (only to then throw them again).

Role: Initiator

Initiators can gain information on enemy position for your team and they can help flush enemies out of tight hiding spots.

On defense, their utility is used to gain information first and foremost, but they are also adept at supporting aggressive plays and retake scenarios.

On attack, their utility is used to clear tight angles and to make it harder for opponents to sit in expected defensive positions.

Tips and Tricks

  • Dizzy [E] has an extremely short cooldown and can be fired again as long as you’re able to reclaim the orb. It’s one of the best tools for clearing an open angle or for entering a site. You just toss it high into the air and let it work for you. If it’s safe, you can pick it back up to use again later in the round. On defense, there are a lot of creative angles for you to throw it straight up to reveal enemies and then be able to pick it back up again.

  • And it’s not just Dizzy [E] that can be picked up -- both Wingman [Q] and Thrash [X] also drop orbs that you can collect to then use again. Thrash in particular is easy to get back because you can just send it back towards you or to a safe angle if you see nobody on the initial use.

  • You can combo Mosh Pit [C] with Thrash to kill someone if you catch them in an angle that’s hard to run towards.
